News: the new book “Time-variant and Quasi-Separable Systems” by Patrick Dewilde, Klaus Diepold and Alle-Jan van der Veen has been published on October 31st, 2024 by Cambridge University Press. The book contains a didactical introduction to the intensive use of linear algebra in the unified context of Systems Theory and Matrix Theory, thereby focussing on maximal results obtainable from elementary orthogonalization, such as the QR-algorithm or elimination strategies, with, in addition, a number of additional more advanced chapters exemplifying the power of the theory in the context of LU- or Spectral Factorization, Interpolation Theory and Scattering Theory (among others). More information on the book and additional material can be found here.
The book “Systemic Relativism” is a philosophical exploration of chaos and creation, evolution and intelligence’, authored by P. Dewilde and published by Stichting PRCS, Delft, the Netherlands, via Brave New Books (bol.com). ISBN: 9789402173420. For an introduction to the book, see the introduction.
